About Us

CRHS PTSA

PTSA stands for the Parent Teacher Student Association. This organization and its members contribute to CRHS in many areas. For example, we publish the Student Directory, Cougar Express newsletter, and Cougar Paws. We sponsor the PTA Reflections contest, Junior Achievement, and award PTSA student scholarships to graduating seniors. We support the faculty and staff at CRHS through volunteer and financial assistance.

We are the “Education Booster Club” as we support all students at CRHS. Join us as we strive to help make CRHS the best high school in America!

PTSA Supports CRHS:

• Volunteer recruitment and coordination – 41,000 hours in 2010-11!
• Curriculum and instruction resources – more than $50,000 since 2009
• Reflections Art Program
• Junior Achievement coordination
• CRHS Student Directory
• Campus Beautification
• Staff Appreciation Events
• Opportunities for student involvement with the school and community
• Legislative advocacy for students and teachers

PTSA Supports Our Members:

• $500 PTSA senior scholarships, funded directly by membership dues
• “Lunch with the Principal,” informal Q&A sessions with Mr. Cross
• Welcome Coffees for incoming families
• School-home communication

Mission Statement

The Cinco Ranch High School Parent Student Teacher Association is a volunteer organization committed to the parents, teachers and students of CRHS and is dedicated to building various and effective means of communication to enhance these relationships. Our members strive to boost parent and student involvement and integration into our school and community and to support each aspect of CRHS through volunteer service, financial assistance, teacher appreciation, various student programs, and student scholarships.
